U13 REP

Box Rep teams practice twice a week starting in April. League games are scheduled at home and away against other teams in Zone 9. Rep teams complete in one or two tournaments during the season as well as the provincial championships held in August at the Ontario Lacrosse Festival in Whitby, Ontario.

    The U13 Rep team can expect to have two floor times per week, which could be a combination of practices and games. Practices and home games will be scheduled soon. The practices will be in Talbot Arena starting in April 2026. Away game dates and times may vary.

    This team can expect to participate in at least one weekend tournament during the season in addition to the provincial championship in August.

  • The registration fee is what the club collects from each rep player to cover operational costs. The total listed here is the total payable to the club. Rep teams may have other costs to cover including tournaments and team activities. Those fees are set at each team’s discretion with oversight from the club.

U13 Evaluation Sessions

We are so excited that due to high registrations in our U13 division, we will be able to offer 2 teams.  There are three evaluation sessions scheduled to assess player's skill and make a determination of the best fit team for them. All U13 registered players are asked to report to all 3 scheduled sessions.  Further,  any interested major (Year 2) U11 players are eligible to attend the U13 evaluations. These major U11 players may be assigned to a U13 team or U11 team dependent on a collaborative coach/executive decision which will be based on several factors/considerations. 

The 3 evaluation sessions are scheduled for:

Wednesday, March 25th 4:30-5:30pm at the Aud in Simcoe

Sunday, March 29th 12noon-1pm at the Aud in Simcoe

Wednesday, April 8th 4:30-5:45pm at the Rec Centre in Simcoe

Players are expected to attend all 3 sessions.  If your child is unable to attend a session, please email Coach Matt Breedyk (breedykmatt@gmail.com) and Coach Jason Butler (jason.butler.44@yahoo.com). 

At the conclusion of the evaluation sessions and no later than the ‘Season Kick-Off’ night U13 players will be informed of which team (#1 or #2) they will be rostered to. Major U11 players will be notified at the conclusion of the evaluation sessions and no later than the ‘Season Kick-Off’ night which team (U11, U13#1 or U13#2) they will be rostered to. If a major U11 player opts out of the U13 evaluation sessions, they will be automatically rostered to the U11 team.
